Taking place on a private, beautiful Texas hill country ranch, you’ll be able to get some quiet time for reflection as the sun sets and the stars come alive.
Starting just before sunset, we will make our way up to a quiet valley nestled high up between the hills where you’ll be able to enjoy hours of sunset, nature, great food, quiet contemplation, and guided stargazing. This is your time to get away from the noise and enjoy the company of people you love.

Your ticket to this event provides you full access to a day pass at the ranch. Come enjoy the afternoon for a hike, swim, explore, and relax in this incredible Ranch that includes private access to the last few miles of the famous Frio River in the heart of Texas, making for an intimate and exclusive experience without any of the crowds that you’ll find at Garner State Park.

Food: Picnic spread is included and will be served upon arrival.
Driving: Guests will meet at the ranch at 8 PM, they will then be escorted to the Dark Skies viewing area.
Recommended Items for Guests to bring:
- Comfortable hiking boots, or shoes.
- Light sweater (yes it’s Texas summer nights but better to be prepared)
- Additional Snacks and beverages are allowed and encouraged if there is something special you want. No Alcohol will be served but you may bring your own but no glass is allowed.
- If you coming to the ranch during the day, please bring anything you may want for hiking, swimming in the river, water shoes are usually recommended for the river. ect.
- While the roads are safe and not difficult to drive, we don’t recommend bringing ultra-low driving cars on the ranch.
Nature and Weather Disclosure: During the event, we are going out into nature in the evening and night. It’s amazing to see but it comes along with all the risks associated with that. There will be short hiking/walking to get to the location. While using the river, please use common sense and be safe. Our hosts have lit the pathways, surrounding banks, and placed lights inside of the Frio’s water, but this is a natural river with uneven footing in places.
